The 2014 Kiwanis Red River Rally will be

Scenic Lake Texoma, rolling hills, open roads, a rural backdrop, and Southern hospitality ... you'll find it all at the 9th Annual Red River Bike Rally! This will be our third year at Lake Texoma, and the reviews for last year's ride were excellent! It is fun, challenging, and has beautiful scenery.

We're happy to announce that every rest stop will be stocked with Skratch Exercise Hydration!

ROUTE INFO: Did you know that ALL of our routes are posted on the rally website? Thanks to the hard work of the folks at Texoma Bicycle Works and Texoma Cycling Club, you can use RideWithGPS.com to prepare for your ride. 

Note: Century Riders (100 milers) must complete 53 miles prior to 12:00 Noon. At High Noon, the Wall Street Turn will be CLOSED. All riders arricing at Wall Street after noon will be redirected to the 88 mile "bail-out" route.

HOTEL: Tanglewood Resort and Conference Center is hosting this year's rally on Lake Texoma. We hope you'll check out the special packagesTanglewood has available for riders -- they include discounted rates for riders and their families.

 CAMPING: Looking for a place to camp overnight? Tanglewood has that, too! They have a limited number of electric hook-ups (no water) for campers for $15 per night. Please call 903-786-2968 for more info.

 Highport Marina (adjacent to Tanglewood) also has some camp sites (903-786-7000); and Texoma Destinations has several areas with sights(903-786-4401).

 ONLINE: Be sure to "like" our Facebook page. We'll keep you updated on any potential changes, weather updates, route updates, etc. Feel free to post questions or "share" the event with your Facebook friends and family.

There are several routes of varying distance planned west of Sherman & Denison.  They are mostly on county roads with little traffic in the beautiful north Texas country. Port-O-Potties and fully stocked rest stops will be available every 10 to 12 miles.  We will have mechanics and SAG support available on all routes.  Safety will always be our top priority
